Tinted lip balms are fun and easy to make, and you get to pick the colour combinations for you.

25gms	Lip Balm Base
2gms	Organic Lip Balm Flavour
9 mini scoops	Mica
1 mini scoop	Oxide

Suggested #1: 9 scoops Shine Pink + 1 scoop Black Iron Oxide
Suggested #2: 9 scoops Pink Congo + 1 scoop Brown Iron Oxide

Lip Balm Tubes

Method

Weigh out 25 grams of lip balm base and pop in a beaker.
Pop into a double boiler until melted. You will need a tea towel to take out of double boiler as it can get hot.
Measure out the lip balm flavour in the small beaker and add the colour combination to this and stir well.
Add the melted lip balm base to the flavour and colours, stir well.
Pour into the lip balm tubes.
Leave to set and cool, and then cap. Ready to use.

Note: Mica’s will give you the colour - Oxides will bring a boldness, you will need a mix of both.
