Description

The Borage herb originates from the Middle East and is now widely grown around the world. Borage is easily distinguished by its hairy greyish-green leaves and pinky-blue star shaped flowers. Borage oil is well known as an excellent source of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) or Omega 6. The high levels of GLA make Borage oil and excellent addition to any topical treatment for dry, irritated or inflamed skin. It is also reputed to be an excellent oil for conditioning elderly skin.

Lovely stuff

I bought this to use to help with my eczema but have been trying it directly on my face as a moisturizer. It's a lovely oil that absorbs very quickly and has addressed my dry areas. Has an odd smell but it fades.
