Description 

Calcium Carbonate is a natural occurring mineral found as rock in all parts of the world.  It is popular in a variety of powder cosmetics for its filler, whitener and pigment extender roles.

Calcium Carbonate has excellent absorbency which can help to control shine and is often added to face powders, foundations, primers and finishing powders to increase the ability of the makeup to absorb moisture.
