Description
Clove Leaf is considered even stronger and more irritating to the skin than Clove Bud. It can be used for its penetrating fragrance (sharper and harsher than Clove Bud), however, it is not recommended for topical use especially around the mouth (use diluted Clove Bud instead).
Nature/Essence – Purifying & Stimulating
Avoid use on the skin as can be irritating
Clove Leaf is a powerful antiseptic oil to diffuse during colds and flu.
Penetrating and stimulating, Clove Leaf can be diffused when feeling dull and lethargic to lift and sharpen your mental state (Clove Bud is usually preferred for its softer, warmer scent).
Clove Bud helps purify the air when added to candles, room sprays or a diffuser (use in the sick room to aid recovery and in the living spaces to protect others in the household). It is also added to natural insect repellent sprays for the home.
