Description

Raspberry seed oil is a very light carrier oil that is rich in essential fatty acids including Omega 3 and 6. It is deeply nourishing to the skin and works well in protective and restoring formulations for dry, damaged and irritated skin.

An often-cited study showed some mild protective effects for Raspberry Seed Oil against the harmful effects of UV rays. Whilst there is no harm in including this oil in a sunscreen formulation, it is not considered to be sufficient a sunscreen agent itself.
