Description

Shea butter is obtained from the seeds of the Karite tree (Butyrospermum parkii) common in several African countries. This soft, pliant 'butter' is expeller pressed from the seeds without the use of chemical solvents and can be used for soaps, cosmetics and toiletries.
This product has been sustainably produced from only certified organic plantations and has not been further processed in order to keep it's natural off-white colour and pleasant mild aroma.

Great butter

This was my first time using unrefined shea butter. It's very smooth (not grainy), so worked well with whipped hair butter I tried for personal use. The nutty smell is a bit strong to be masked. But I don't mind it since ei used it for a hair mask butter along with neem oil (which is another strong smelling ingredient) that stays on my hair for only a couple of hours before wash. The results were great and can't wait to use more often.

Purchased to make Christmas gifts and myself

Made homemade coconut oil & Shea body butter, which soaks in beautifully and smells yummy. I'm 55 and find my skin is becoming really dry, but this really hydrates it and doesn't leave it greasy and all.

Love all my products from Pure Nature 🥰
